Dhardo Rimpoche...

In the FWBO tribute book to Dhardo, it's admitted that he could not speak English. Sangharakshita has said that he cannot speak Tibetan. What language did they communicate in? Pali? By telepathy? (Sorry, I phrased this a little badly, but it's an honest question).

Rimpoche's secretary, Jampel Kaldhen, was his usual translator, though other people also acted as intermediaries at various times. The translation process is mentioned several times in the book. Shantavira 12:14, 16 Jan 2005 (UTC)

second tulku[edit]

What does the statement "He was the second tulku in the Gelug lineage and eleventh in the Nyingma lineage" mean? That he was the second highest tulku in the Gelug? Or that his was the second oldest lineage? Or he was the second Dhardo Rinpoche to be associated with the Gelugs? Only the last option seems plausible, but it should be made clearer.—Nat Krause(Talk!·What have I done?) 17:20, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
