People who were born in Moses Lake that actually became famous or made something out of themselves[edit]

Anybody know anyone? Any body famous or for that matter infamous?

Evil Kinneaval lived in Moses Lake for some time, and one of the stars of Walker Texas Ranger was from Moses Lake. Sethwoodworth 02:27, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Major-league pitcher Dave Heaverlo grew up in Moses Lake, not far from where I did, and at about the same time. --Rbraunwa 04:49, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I found a few other semi-famous people:

Changed Intro paragraph.[edit]

from:
Moses Lake is a city in Grant County, Washington, United States. The population was 14,953 at the 2000 census. Major attractions of Moses Lake include the sand dunes, mud flats, and water sports. The sand dunes south of town are a tourist attraction for a variety of recreational vehicles such as, Hot Rod Jeeps, Sand Rails, Quads, Dirt Bikes, and many boats. South of town of I-90 there is a Bmx Race Track. There are races scheduled from March all the way into October.

Moses Lake is a city in Grant County, Washington, United States. The population was 14,953 at the 2000 census.

Major attractions that can be found in Moses Lake include the Sand Dunes ORV Park, which is located in between the two largest bodies of water in Grant County just south of town. A wide variety of recreation is available in the area you’ll find Hot-Rod Jeeps, People enjoying the many water ways and Bird watcher ogling the Great Blue Heron. There is fun for the family at newly expanded water or at the BMX Track, Ice Stating ring, batting cages or just taking a ride across town on the ever growing cycling paths.

Why:

1. The Sand dunes ORV Park include the mudflats they are not separate places and well, water sports is noun that describes things not a place. (awkward sent.)
2. After trying to list attractions of Moses Lake. Repeats again about the sand dunes that where already just introduced as majors attractions. But this time as a tourist, (same thing, repeating)
3. The listing of the variety of orv’s isn’t really saying anything about Moses lake only still just telling about the what I can find in the sand dunes..
4. What is every thing in Moses Lake south of town. The BMX bike track in located in Moses Lake not south of it or even south of i-90. Also people that are just concerned with specifically with Moses Lake aren’t going to care when to track is open anyway.

What:

I tried to make the intro into more of a preview of what Moses lake has to offer to a tourist, Yet tried to include things and attraction that is Moses Lake not just adjacent to the town proper —Preceding unsigned comment added by Domanost (talkcontribs) 20:41, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the contribution but please do not include tourism-oriented information. I've included details on your talk page. Sethwoodworth (talk) 04:25, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
