Moving articles[edit]

The way to rename articles is to move them. You won't be able to do this yet (you get the ability when you've been around for a while, and have made more edits; this was introduced to stop people just turning up and vandalising Wikipedia by moving pages, a particularly time-consuming problem to clear up); what you can do now is ask for the page to be moved at Wikipedia:Requested moves, or by asking an editor who's been around for a while.

By the way, always 'sign' your messages (as explained above); it makes everything easier. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 11:10, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Personal Critics[edit]

  • I am just going to comment on what I believe is an inconsistency. You say you don't follow a "conga-line" but in every single VfD page I've seen you vote, you seem to be a complete sheep. You say you want to provide justification and not do it mindlessly, but, from you, I have seen a complete lack of this. Just my two cents Drak 11:05, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)
    • You're in no position to critise me considering 1) You've only been a contributor to Wikipedia for only 3 days 2) Your first contributions to Wikipedia has been on vfd (which would raise suspicions about why you're here) 3) You have yet to contribute an article. A gentle reminder - Kindly desist from name calling or a complaint will be forwarded to the admins. Megan1967 11:17, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)
    • I am perfectly within my right to criticise you. I have been lurkinng around before I signed up for one, and I have seen you post on VfD many times "following the trend." If you want me to pick up examples, I can. Also, you say I haven't contributed anything, whereas, I have actually contributed two full articles, and looking at your "to-do list" Britten's operas have more worth than what you write about. Also, you seem to be an advocate of free speech, so how can you say I'm in no position to criticise you? Drak 11:31, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Sinophobia[edit]

This is not POV, in Japanese Article for Sinophobia, it introduces both U.S.A. and Japan are Anti-China Countries.

    • IF this is the case put a sentence such as "A Japanese article has named Japan and the United States as Anti-Chinese countries" with a citation. But I still think it is POV. Drak 12:20, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
