Dear Van Flamm
I thought it was self-evident that images made by Wikipedians are published under the GFDL. Either way, I have updated the relevant descriptions at Image:Ch4-structure.png and Image:Ch4-hybridisation.png as requested. Truth be told, however, these are scarcely useful sketches; one could certainly make much nicer images. Unfortunately, I personally lack the skills to do so.
Cheers

Hi Van Flamm, I have noticed that you have replaced some good chemical structures with some very poor made ones (e.g. Image:Psilocin..png and Image:Yohimbine..png). Please could you stop that. Thanks, Cacycle 20:15, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Chemistry Wikiproject[edit]

Hi,

I noticed your critical comments on the Wikiproject, and I wanted to get your opinion on where things are going wrong. There are indeed a lot of very poor pages on chemistry on Wikipedia, but hopefully we are making these better. For example, compare barium chloride as it is now with a version from six months ago. Most of our efforts have been focussed on improving the pages for individual compounds, there has been less activity on reactions or concepts, but there are only a handful of us working on a huge area. I'd appreciate any constructive ideas on how you think we should proceed. Thanks, Walkerma 15:18, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
