I disagree. tango no sekku is an old festival. kodomo no hi is a modern (postwar) public holiday. That they take place on the same day is not a coincidence but they are completely different things. (like Easter and Passover). ja.wikipedia has the entries separated, too.

Ok, you are welcome to restore the page. But for a English readership I suggest combining the information on one page.Andycjp
