As nearly as I can tell, this is just a user community for the online game NationStates. The article already gives this "meritocracy" as much treatment as it deserves--a single external link. A google search for "NationStates meritocracy" returns ~1000 hits, the first of which is the Wikipedia's NationStates article. --Ardonik 02:22, Jul 31, 2004 (UTC)

  • Don't delete. There are numerous examples of electronic communities that are maintained on this site.
  • Don't delete. Meritocrats are in the process of accumulating more information on the subject. Besides, the region of European Affairs has an entry which has not been deleted. CommiE 02:46, Jul 31, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. That said, don't be discouraged; this just isn't what we're looking for. For a better idea of what should be included, take a look at Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, along with some other deletion debates.   • Delete: Also, if there is one on the region of European Affairs, it, too, would need deletion. This is not a personal bias, but rather a case that reality takes precedence over fiction and flesh over electronic life. The notability barrier for fictional and e- life should be higher than that for reality/3D. Small cantons in reality are therefore above even very large e-communities. Geogre 13:32, 31 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. The only material in the article that couldn't be found simply by clicking on a few links from the Meritocracy site is the short overview at the beginning.   • Send to Cleanup and rename. This article is garbage, but a google search for "meritocracy" would imply that it's a legitimate topic outside of NationStates. Ambi 11:08, 1 Aug 2004 (UTC)
