Dhalsim's glitch?[edit]

Dhalsim's "disappear" glitch in SF2:WW. Why was this removed? Too technical? I've had many people ask me how to do this move over the Kaillera server, it's far more interesting than his super moves in subsequent games - all of which are listed in the instruction manuals anyway. You stated: "(overtechnical, removed. Sim doesn't have a glitch section like Guile does)" When the reason he doesn't have a Glitch section is because not many people know of his glitches. I know of 1 glitch (the one you removed) and I'm sure a section can be added if any more are discovered. As I said before, many people are interested in learning this trick, even if you are not. I was under the impression that Wiki' was a place for everyone to enjoy, not just a select few. There have recently been edits to his page that fall under "vandalism", I propose we lock it.

Curry[edit]

"According to the English language Street Fighter II manual, eating spicy Indian curry gave Dhalsim the ability of fire breathing, but this was rewritten to being a gift from Agni, the Indian god of fire."

Vegetarianism[edit]

Yesterday I tried to place the Dhalsim article in the Fictional Vegetarians category. My entry was deleted.

I choose to argue against this decision, as there are two bases for categorizing Dhalsim as a vegetarian. 1. Meat is listed as one of his dislikes. 2. In the character basis section of the article, it is stated that vegetarianism is one of the tenets that he lives by.

It is with this in mind that I believe Dhalsim should be categorized as a fictional vegetarian. I ask anyone who believes otherwise to speak up and explain why they believe the way they do. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Afrikanpygmy (talk • contribs) 05:09, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Now that I look back on it, I'm not really sure. There's nothing in the plot guide indicating he lives by vegetarianism, and he likes curry, a dish which generally includes meat, although there are vegetarian versions. I think I'd need to see something that specifically says he's a vegetarian which Capcom espouses before I add it, but I'm not as opposed as I was before. Regarding the likes/dislikes big, you have to remember even though Zangief is listed as having pretty women as a dislike, it's still up in the air if he's gay or not. So disliking something doesn't always equate to an extreme. Images[edit]

I don't agree with this edit. The one where he hovers demonstrates an ability, it goes in the ability section. The other is better off as a lead image since it is a clearer representation of the character. Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 19:01, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yoga teleport[edit]

IIRC, on the Super NES (this probably holds for other platforms), the Yoga Teleport was available in SF2 Turbo/Hyper fighting but not in SF2, so I think we should add it to the article because the current phrasing lets think that this move was available in all versions.
