Shared Source does not attempt to be Free Software[edit]

Microsoft's Shared Source Initiative, especially in relation to .NET and, of course, the Windows operating system, does not imply the source code released is free to be used for any purpose. They specifically state that Rotor is for education and research usage.

As such "Ximian and others" ought to believe this fact... Mark Hurd 12:29, 23 Jun 2004 (UTC)
