Improvement[edit]

I think this needs some work; this would be a great way to get it the attention of the Wikipedia community. HereToHelp 21:13, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I tried my best, and still am, to get some attention to this article. I'll put this on the video game wikiproject. I don't think it's bad enough to be called a stub, just think it needs a cleanup and more information. Galactor213 02:01, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GCotW[edit]

It's a collaboration, so I'm collaboratin'. I added some references, not doing a whole lot though. --PresN 20:28, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll try and have a trawl through some old magazines to see if I can find any references. X201 08:27, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm really glad to see Tropico as a CotW. I was excited about the game back when it came out, but for some reason never actually played it until I picked up a copy just about a month ago. This game is really amazing, and has sucked up my free time in a way that only two or three games ever have. I'm delighted to see that other people are still interested in it, especially since it didn't do very well commercially at the time of its release. I just wish that it had had more expansion packs or user-contributed content (mods). Anyhow, I've done some minor grammatical edits, and will try to contribute some content after I've had some time to look over some featured articles on PC games and get a better idea of what sort of content is expected. Lou Bega Link[edit]

I've never cited a web based source before. Is the developers own website a valid enough source? - X201 13:21, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've just found out that the Inside the Sausageworks stuff was actually a column in Computer Games Magazine. If anyone could add that as an additional source it would be great. Column 21 was written in May 2001 so I guess it must have appeared in the May or June edition of that year. - X201 14:20, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Games based on Caribbean city-building[edit]

At the start of the article it states that other games have been created with a Caribbean theme to city building have been done before, i recognise this is largely off topic and not related to the page itself, but could someone let me know what they are? Or cite a source that shows them? As i've looked and don't know of any others myself but would be interested in playing them if i did. RyanTimes 20:21, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Tropico: Paradise Island into tropico.[edit]

I think that tropico: Paradise Island is a little small, and could easily be coped in its entirety to a section here. tittled something like tropico's expansion packs, and we'd threw in a line about the bundling of the two Tropico: Mucho Macho Edition. Any one else agree?--Alex at kms (talk) 02:18, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tropico 5[edit]

Tropico 5 has not been officially announced. A link referenced here leads to page 8 of Kalypao Media's official Tropico 4 forum. Further research leads me to the correct link, located here. No one from Kalypso has posted in this thread regarding a new installment in the Tropico series. Other posts on Kalypso's official forum flatly deny that anything has been announced, for example: here and here. Notice the title beneath the username, ' Kalypso Media', as opposed to 'Moderator' (as seen here). --173.30.197.166 (talk) 14:36, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
