Ah well I figured the full name would be Tudhoe Village as that is the name you used in the actual text. Is the official name of the village Tudhoe? or Tudhoe Village, there is a difference and we should use the official name, regardless of what is used for other villages. Looking at [1] it seems the full name would be Tudhoe Village though. -- [[User:Solitude|Solitude\talk]] 16:03, Nov 24, 2004 (UTC)

Tudhoe[edit]

It really depends what you want the official name of and what organisations you consider "official". There are areas known as Tudhoe Village, Tudhoe Colliery, Tudhoe Moor, Tudhoe Grange and perhaps others. Collectively they are Tudhoe. The term Tudhoe Village refers to the original village, which is all there was until the middle of the 19th century. The rest are all later additions. Tudhoe Village is also the address used by the Post Office for all the houses that stand on the original village green. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 129.234.4.10 (talk) 16:45, 3 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]
