Car models[edit]

I've noticed that the article points to models named without the manufacturer (e.g., the "R1" instead of the Yamaha R1). I'm fairly sure these bikes are referred to as "Yamaha x" instead of just "x"—if this is the case, we should probably move all of these articles over to the correct names. Does someone with more familiarity with Yamaha motorbikes have any input? --Milkmandan 04:01, 2005 Jan 29 (UTC)

I've got most of it. What a mess. The R1 page still needs to be fixed. --Milkmandan 09:07, 2005 Feb 25 (UTC)

Odd change[edit]

In this sentence, an anonymous editor changed 95% to 4%.

"In 2000 Toyota bought 95% of Yamaha Motor from the Yamaha Corporation, the largest shareholder in Yamaha Motor, for about $97.6 million."
