Sacred mountain in Vedic mythology?[edit]

I reverted the addition of the claim that Lhotse is a sacred mountain in Vedic mythology, since it was unreferenced, and since I can find no substantiation of such a claim (which may be true, but seems highly implausible). If this can be specifically cited to a reliable source, then put it back in. -- Spireguy (talk) 02:15, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Age[edit]

On May 20, 2011 at age 17 years, 11 months and 16 days, Arjun Vajpai (...) Actually how much exactly is 11 months and 16 days? In this case it would be more informative to write "n days before 18th birthday" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.6.118.121 (talk) 14:51, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • The convention in the mountaineering community is to use the age format as given in the article. RedWolf (talk) 17:31, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lhotse Face section[edit]

At the beginning of the section there was a photo showing Nuptse yet it was labeled as Lhotse. I corrected the name to Nuptse. Now the photo doesn’t appear (because I edited the source?). The photo probably shouldn’t have been uploaded in the first place given it was of a different (neighbouring) mountain … Mainemce (talk) 07:11, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Let's just delete it. You could simply have changed the caption, leaving the filename the same (since the filename is what identifies it); perhaps suggesting moving it at Commons is also a good idea. But anyway, it is of no particular significance to this article if it is not a picture of Lhotse. Imaginatorium (talk) 07:25, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
