My name is Phillip Oliver and I am an academic librarian at the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama. I received a B.S. in English from my alma mater and M.L.S. (Master of Library Services) from the University of Alabama.

I just discovered Wikipedia in January 2005. I enjoy doing research and sharing knowledge with others. All of my articles have been thoroughly researched from various sources to create entries that I hope are accurate. I jumped into Wikipedia head first and I'm learning the technical aspects as I go along - if I've made any mistakes, do let me know.

Most of my articles will be on the subject of Film, which I am passionate about. I am also an avid gardener.
