Talk:Tenner–tenor split

While this is descriptive of a real phenomenon, is tenner-tenor split really a recognized name, used in the relevant academic literature? Whereas caught-cot merger is standard terminology, this sounds like a nonce coinage, considering "tenner" is very colloquial.
