Aquilegia is the internationally accepted name for these plants. Columbine is just the American term (granny's bonnets is the British term). Can we make the main article title Aquilegia and have the other terms redirect to that instead of vice-versa?-203.118.142.157 19:27, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Should the article have information on pests and fungi that affect Aquilegia and ways to get rid of them on this page or each species' respective page? ---Đяαςøиςιя|
- If they are pests of the whole genus (or even most of it) then this would be the right place, so that the same info isn't repeated across dozens of species articles. Be sure that the source you're using is careful about the affected taxa, gardening articles aren't usually very precise about whether a pest really does affect both wild and cultivated types; if the source only mentions one species, then that's all it's good for. Identification[edit]
I have a few Columbines growing in my flower garden. I planted them from seed, and all I recall about the packet was that it said "Hybrid Columbine." I don't know the scientific name for these varieties. Can anyone help? MamaGeek (talk/contrib) 03:43, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
