Welcome to the British TV channels task force! Formerly the WikiProject British TV channels, the project became a task force under the new WikiProject British television on 29 December 2011. Our aim is to create good articles for all British TV Channels.

Hierarchy definition[edit]
Purely British TV channels should be included in Category:Television channels in the United Kingdom.
Where the UK just broadcasts a foreign network as it is broadcast in that country (eg Fox News or TV5 that article should be included in Category:Foreign television channels broadcasting in the United Kingdom

Project banner[edit]
The {{WikiProject British TV channels}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner.
