After seeing your posting on Wikipedia talk:Verifiability, I realized that the issues at Ryzom might be somehwat similar or related to issues at Battlezone II: Combat Commander. - To me it looks like a problem of properly balancing the blocking fan cruft and overly zealous quality control. Yes we need to block fan cruft, but we don't want (quality control) editors insisting on a mindless formalistic application of rules and as a consequence hackling normal authors and essentially keeping them from writing good and informative articles.--Kmhkmh (talk) 14:51, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
