Wickipedia:Speedy deletions[edit]

Hi. Wikipedia:Speedy deletions isn't a place for complaints or advice. Is there anything I can help you with? - Tεxτurε 21:18, 3 Jun 2004 (UTC)

I looked at your article at Al-Andalus, etymology(ies) and I have to admit that I do not know the subject matter. However, it does seem to be original work and not an article about existing knowledge. The opening sentence, "On the origins of the name Al-Andalus...I think this is an intriguing question, and not so easily answered! " is more suited for editorials than an encylopedic entry. Perhaps you could rework the wording to a format more suitable for the encyclopedic format and less personal? I hope you don't mind the suggestion. - Tεxτurε 21:38, 3 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Vandalism[edit]

Do not vandalise my personal page. The history of all pages is recorded. This can be used against you for breaching Wikiquette, should you continue to be childish, and ultimately you may be banned. Dunc_Harris| 10:38, 4 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Casta, don't go outside proper procedure. Your page, Al-Andalus, etymology(ies) is getting votes to keep on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion. Keep cool and let things come out as they will. - Tεxτurε 16:39, 4 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Al-Andalus[edit]

I have incorporated the content written by Casta at Al-Andalus, etymology(ies) (subsequently moved to Etymology of Al-Andalus) into the article at Al-Andalus and recommended that the former two pages should redirect to the latter. — Chameleon 15:45, 17 Jun 2004 (UTC)
