If you absolutely wan to make a reference to a wake-up phase of Quebec society then it's an awakening, not a wake. If you had something else in mind then stae it. It can't possibly be hydrodynamics or modern Celtic burial customs. --AlainV 05:56, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)


The thing is that these institutions did not all appear after the Quiet Revolution. The big noticeable ones like Hydro Quebec (which was born in 1944 but became a new institution during the QR) and CEGEPs appeared during the Quiet revolution. In fact many analysts argue that these institutions _are_ the quiet revolution. So a metaphor placing them after it does not fit in. --AlainV 06:38, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
