I think this page needs some NPOV, stat. Sam [Spade]

I agree. What's with the D&D-like references under "Demons come in 4 general types?" JeffC

You're both right. But another issue is: Do we need this article at all? There's a quite good article Demon that treats demons in various kultures, an article Christian demonology and tons of related articles that elaborate the christian standpoint. They are heavily POV, but still contain useful information and now that one. It seems to be largely written from the point of view of a contemporary non- christian "demonologist" who likes demons. Such an article might be good to have, but may be it should be given a better name. (contemporary demonology? occult demonology?)

The whole subject demons seems to need a revision. I'll just start here editing and wikifying a bit, hope someone will help me. User:Lady Tenar

We already have this article...many times over. Why are there so many damn demon articles? What the devil is getting into people? (sorry, couldn't resist.) Anything good here should be moved to demonology, and then this article should become a redirect. RK

I completely agree with regarding this article you and would be happy to do something like this as soon as i have time. Felt uncomfortable about such big changes as a newbe here. But i think christian demonology is worth preserving. other than this one it explains an unique part of the topic, and it's preservation (maybe with some NPOV) may keep the christians from picking on the rest of the topic. The really huge task will be NPOVing and integrating the subpages of christian demonology User:Lady Tenar

I've moved parts of the article into various other demonology-related articles, deleted the redundancy and the spurious RPG-like stuff, and turned mythology of demons into a redirect to demonology. If anyone disagrees, feel free to revert, but considering the poor state of the original article, I doubt anyone will mind. The only part not yet merged into an article is a paragraph currently at talk:grimoire. -Sean Curtin 01:06, 15 Jun 2004 (UTC)
