  • Created by same user as Rfc 1, as well as now-deleted List of rfc, which contained a list of HUNDREDS of such file names. RickK 03:33, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • The list was deleted by RickK, violating the deletion policy. Netgra 03:53, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. This isn't Wikisource, but the RFCs are not "material that are only useful when presented with their original, un-modified wording." anthony (see warning) 03:38, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
    • In that case, delete as not belonging on Wikisource nor on Wikipedia. RickK 04:01, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Essentially read-only. Wikisource. -- Cyrius|&#9998 05:51, Apr 14, 2004 (UTC)
  • Redirect to Request for Comments, as the other RFCs. If wikisources wants it, you could copy it there. -- User:Docu
  • Delete these five. None of them give any reason for the topic to be worthy of an article. Don't redirect; People who search for a particular RFC number want the source, not a general article, and people who want a general article won't ever find these redirects. So the redirects are useless. Andrewa 07:15, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Comment: But if we do keep them, we'll need to somehow to comply with their copyright restrictions, which IMO we currently violate and can't easily satisfy. Other sites, not under the GFDL, can easily comply, and the documents are never likely to be hard to find on the WWW. So is it worth the trouble? Andrewa 07:35, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: not encyclopedia material, desipite its high historical value. Write about it and format it nicely instead if it's gonna be here. --ssd 07:58, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. As above. DJ Clayworth 17:27, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete - not encyclopedic - Tεxτurε 17:53, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete all: source text. A description of RFC's would be appropriate for WP. Wile E. Heresiarch 20:20, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Cribcage 05:54, 15 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Horrid. Delete - I pity the admin who has to take care of all these... Pteron 21:33, 16 Apr 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. They will be written. BL 08:04, Apr 19, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Wikipedia is not a source text dump. Maximus Rex 08:07, 19 Apr 2004 (UTC)
