Willem Senekal born in South Africa in 1946 of originally French Huguenot descent. (Original family name was Guillaume Senechal). Studied B.Iuris at the Universities of Port Elizabeth and Durban. Also studied archaeology and anthropology at University of Pretoria. Represented South Africa in Foreign Service in the seventies. Open-minded.
