Taiwan[edit]

Now in this article the country of Taiwan is written as its formal name, but this country is commonly called Taiwan, and because both the island and the castle are located in the same place as the country of Taiwan, we have a discussion about calling it Taiwan rather than its formal name. In this article, @LHD, a user who changed the country of Taiwan to its official name, is asked to participate in the discussion. Mamiamauwy (talk) 15:10, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Taiwan may refer to "island, "province", or "alternative name of R.O.C. for foreigners", and the three are different ranges. It is NATIONAL CURRENCY of R.O.C. NOW, and was LOCAL CURRENCY of PROVINCE BEFORE. For disambiguation, using formal national name in the article & Infobox at the first time is appropriate. --LHD (talk) 05:19, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, I changed X) I recover it to the old revision before 2023-08-10, which used the "Republic of China (Taiwan)" for a long time. Since 2023-08-10, a vandal's sockpuppet Marcslab removed "Republic of China" frequently, and was blocked finally. And I notice that Mamiamauwy is blocked in Korean Wikipedia now. --LHD (talk) 07:56, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
