Memorial Day[edit]
Is it true about Richmond and Charleston claiming to be the birth place of Memorial Day? Those are strange cities for a day to honor the Civil War Union dead to originate. -Acjelen 22:10, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for eventually getting back to me. I liked that story from Charleston. We can probably incorporate some of these earlier memorial days into the Memorial Day article. You can sign and date your posts by typing the hyphen (or "dash") key followed by four tildes (i.e. ~). You should also consider adding to your User profile.
