Welcome, from another Commonwealth of Nations country, Wordie! (Golly, you HAVE been busy with pattern language, as far as one can judge from your contributions; maybe I should read it; and maybe you can reduce clutter by using the Preview button more often.) I'm a wordie too, by current profession (as part of The Thomson Corporation), but I've lived far too long (7/3 times as long as you) to be only a wordie. I had a look at BC and bookmarked it; maybe I should give away my copy of Angela's Ashes - I gave up out of boredom and depression, one-third of the way through. Pattern Language[edit]
Great work on pattern language, Wordie. Keep it up! You might also be pleased to know that after reading the current state of the article, I think I finally know what a pattern language is. ;) — Adam Conover † 07:31, Sep 11, 2004 (UTC)
- I agree. Very nice job. I especially like the structure, with the multiplicity of small sections, which encourages future expansion of the article in well-defined directions. My only issue with it is the non-canonical section headings (generally only the first word of a heading is capitalized), which I've changed. I've also changed the triple-newlines above the headings to double-newlines. Apart from that, excellent. Thanks for taking on this article. - dcljr 23:00, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Hi Wordie, I thought I'd drop a note to explain why I changed your edit in the above article. This edit re-named a reference that is cited more than once, resulting in a cite error in the footnotes. In this edit the same reference was removed and changed to something else, but the reference is cited multiple times, so it needed to keep the same ref name, and the same URL. Instead, I placed your reference into a new citation, and named it a unique name, so that the first "training" ref that is cited more than once, is intact. Hope that explains it!
