Proofs seems like a highly misleading name for this category. I would expect a category with that name to list articles that embody proofs. That is not what this category does. Instead, it deals with the concept of proof. It should be called proof. Michael Hardy 21:26, 29 Jul 2004 (UTC)

What is this category about? Most of the articles here seem to be just math articles which also happen to have a proof (e.g. König's lemma, Pythagorean theorem). Others are articles that contain nothing but a proof of a theorem (Pythagorean theorem proof (rational trigonometry)). Others are topics about proofs (Q.E.D., Reductio ad absurdum).
