  • Delete: "Dear Santa, I want a new Greek fisherman's hat and Thai fisherman pants and a French buccaneer shirt and some Fisherman's Friend lozenges." Oh... Wikipedia. Right. Spam. Geogre 19:32, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep, although change article text: Yes, it's spam at the moment, but fishermans pants are a generic form of, err pants, beloved of backpackers, hippies, marshal arts enthusiasts (and thai fishermen). Kaftan, Sarong, Jersey (clothing) get articles, I see no reason why thai fishermans pants shouldn't - AndrewMcQ 19:56, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC).
    • Comment: Isn't that the same as deleting and then starting over? I don't see a word in the present article that could be part of the one you're describing, and I can't imagine why we'd want to preserve that explicit ad in the edit history. Geogre 04:44, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
      • Comment: Good point - agreed. Might even try to write the new version. AndrewMcQ 11:25, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: this version really doesn't bring any universal facts on the topic.

Hmm[edit]

Remind me of taking a photo for this article. By the way, the pants in question are indeed beloved of backpackers, hippies, marshal arts enthusiasts (and thai fishermen). I'd place myself into "backpackers" or "hippies" if I'd have to choose, but really they're just comfortable. Really comfortable. Jobjörn (Talk ° contribs) 23:47, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
