Only displaying up to T[edit]

For me, this page is only displaying as far down the list as Trax FM. I'm using Camino on a Mac - is anyone else having this problem, and how can it be fixed? Smileyrepublic 21:35, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Do UK stations have callsigns?[edit]

True or false: Unlike U.S. radio stations, U.K. radio stations have no callsign. 66.245.107.72 19:48, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I'd say your statement is false, in that most stations do still have a standardised format for their name. In the UK they are perhaps GnXXX, such as the amateur station G4GKH. However, your point is valid in that professional stations are universally known by their more colourful name (eg 'The Pulse', 'Ocean FM', 'Swansea Sound').

Take a look at [1] for some details.

So they do, but they aren't popularly used as in the states. Mr. Jones 14:43, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Smb1001, did you hand enter the pages you created or use a bot? Do you know about the pywikipediabot and others? Mr. Jones 14:43, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Category naming[edit]

I'm not going to be the one to change all of the articles, but the proper format for naming the category is "Radio stations in the United Kingdom", not "UK Radio Stations". Bearcat 22:30, 20 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Category renaming has been completed. RedWolf 05:27, May 28, 2005 (UTC)

Sub Categories[edit]

At the moment we have three subcategories on the front page

  • BBC local radio
  • BBC national radio stations
  • Hospital Radio Stations

Does anyone else agree that we beed to split these more by adding the following categories as well?

  • Community radio stations
  • Commercial radio stations
  • Student radio stations

At the moment there is no obvious way to group these together when viewing the category pages KevS 08:17, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
