AHC[edit]

This is a really cool band and I don't know anything about them, could someone with a knowledge of their history please build up this article? DMighton 18:14, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Genre[edit]

I know, this is always a POV issue, but I really disagree with their being labeled industrial metal. Their synthesizers aren't very prevalent, as they are with most industrial bands, and I think the ferocity of their music and the themes they use (the heavy, death metal-esque vocals mainly) place this band in the metalcore genre, maybe under moshcore (while I've never been to an AHC concert, I'll bet there's quite a bit of moshing going on). Lizardking42 19:16, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I checked their website and they list themselves as industrial heavy metal. Lizardking42 23:12, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

metalcore? they have mentioned themselves on their old webpage and in interviews that they are a nu-metal band, with "organic-industrial" influences. I think their original idea was to be a mix between the "organic" nature of traditional Metal and the "synthetic" industrial metal genre.

Revision[edit]

This article's been bugging me for ages, so I put it under Articles Needing Cleanup on WikiProject Metal. A couple months later, I still find vandalism and PoV widespread on the page, so I'm revising it myself. Apparently, there's a message from Mr. Banks III near the bottom of the article. Whether this is well-crafted vandalism or actual information posted by Mr. Banks, I can't tell, but I can tell that it's not supposed to be in the actual article. I've removed it, but I'll paste it here just in case.

"Well, just received the first edit of our DVD...I think you're going to like it, ALOT...I'm impressed at what a great job the editors did...they had thousands of hours of footage to go through...it's coming in at about 75 minutes right now, and has a "Behind the Music" vibe to it...it tracks the entire AHC history up to present date...lots of live footage, videos, weird shit, interviews...you name it, it's probably in there...it's coming packaged with a CD of nine songs...unreleased tracks, live stuff from both albums, and Trepanation songs...the release date as of this moment is March 8th...we'll keep you posted! And yes, the DVD will be released in the U.K. Remind Nitrus Records!

...and we're back in the studio this week working on the new record after taking some time off for the holidays...there is some really, REALLY cool shit in the works...Hell, I'm impressed, and I hate everything...

As well as this, the "Demoes and rare songs" part needs major revision, if not outright deletion. It's biased, it is not backed up with any sources and, most importantly, it is immensely poorly written. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.157.113.244 (talk) 01:33, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:AHCLogo.jpg[edit]

Image:AHCLogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Genre once again[edit]

I don't like the idea of calling AHC's music industrial METAL,HEAVY METAL or ALTERNATIVE METAL.You can see on their profile on MySpace that they play ROCK/METAL/INDUSTRIAL.Well,I can hear influence of Marylin Manson and Faith No More on The Feeding very well. Some of their songs are alternative rock for me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.133.137.214 (talk) 14:07, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
