I've removed "*2011 – Crisscolfer kiss, Dublin, Ireland. Glee tour live." as it is not note worthy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.28.125.3 (talk) 08:23, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Births and deaths[edit]

In accordance with the guidelines, I've started weeding the Births and Deaths sections of Date articles by removing entries for celebrities with 0-4 articles in other languages. Where possible, these have been transferred to the relevant Year in Topic articles. As well as making the lists more manageable, this will help with the globalization effort.Deb (talk) 19:33, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Laura Branigan[edit]

There is a dispute about the birth year for Branigan, as noted and cited on her wiki page. She was previously listed as born in 1957. Someone came through and changed the date to 1952, as that may actually be more accurate, however they did not move the name to the chronological listing place so she is now listed as being born in 1952 among those born in 1957.

It should be one or the other.

holidays and observances St Thomas[edit]

What is the relevance of Quarter Sessions to St Thomas? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 21:57, 14 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it has any relevance or notability, it has always been there ever since. I think it's save to remove it.--Rochelimit (talk) 13:10, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

holidays and observances Venerated Antonietta Meo[edit]

With all due respect to this person, I don't think she should be listed here. She has no cult. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 22:02, 14 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it seems that she is a notable person, however no established cult yet around her.--Rochelimit (talk) 13:11, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There is need to think, not only write[edit]

Sometimes, sometimes wiki user or administator need to use brain. Maybe now is right moment ?

How is possible that person only 9 years old has been patriarch ? Sorry this is not possible. Anatolius of Constantinople was around 400 (year unknown)212.15.177.35 (talk) 14:25, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Jacobus Gallus[edit]

I was surprised to see Jacobus Gallus on the main page, but the documentation on his birthday is pretty spotty and the inter-language links show diverse dates. Grove/Oxford online says "between 15 April and 31 July 1550" as does Baker's 7th ed. Sparafucil (talk) 10:17, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Theodor Herzl[edit]

I would have thought Theodor Herzl was more famous for his contribution to Zionism and the eventual creation of the State of Israel than for his journalism per se? JezGrove (talk) 12:39, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

N1- Explosion[edit]

I have just renoved this section as when I went looking for evidence that this was “The biggest explosion in the history of rocketry” I could not find any references that confirmed this. I will alo raise this on the N-1 rocket talk page Ilenart626 (talk) 06:19, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
