The Wikipedian Rcsteiner is a programmer and personal computer enthusiast who is currently in his mid-40's, who spent most of his life in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, and who has recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia.

He has used a wide variety of computer systems over the years starting with CDC Cyber systems and the KRONOS operating system and continuing through current versions of Microsoft Windows, OS/2, and Linux, and he's been programming UNIVAC 1100/2200 series mainframe systems professionally for 15 years, mainly as an applications programmer within the airline industry.
