Please make amendments in the history section:-
1) in the origin section - The history written is about the Rajputs and not Gujjars.
Please include theories of origin of Gujjars and not Rajputs.
2) Not even a single paragraph writes about the origin of Gujjars. This page is about Gujjars then please include their origin and not about the Rajputs. Abhimanyu200 (talk) 18:43, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
- Not done: as you have not requested a specific change in the form "Please replace XXX with YYY" or "Please add ZZZ between PPP and QQQ".
Furthermore, you have not cited reliable sources to back up your request, without which no information should be added to, or changed in, any article. - Arjayay (talk) 18:49, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
Proposed merge of Punjabi Gurjar into Gurjar[edit]
This is a WP:CFORK. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:24, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
- I oppose. The Gurjar article describes the heterogeneous group of tribes or clans (tribal confederation) spread throughout South Asia. However, the Punjabi Gurjar article is about the Gurjars organised a Punjabi tribe, instead of being about the loose diverse group of clans.
- This is not a case of Wikipedia:Content forks. The Punjabi Gurjar article is just like an article about any tribe and articles about its clans, that are linked together. These two are connected, but do not have the same scope.
- I undid User:UtherSRG's edit of Punjabi Gurjar, as his decision was authoritatively unilateral without any discussion. Something that Wikipedia discourages. Scheditia (talk) 15:33, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
