Talk:The Be Sharps

from VfD: You guys remember the Simpsons episode "Homer's Barbershop Quartet"? So does this guy. The Be Sharps were the focus of that episode alone, and this is quite unnecessary. We don't need an article on every episode, and this isn't even that, just the subject of an episode. Not notable, not encyclopedic, delete. - Vague Rant 05:03, Nov 13, 2004 (UTC)

• Speaking as member #254397 of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, and in my official capacity as president of Chapter K-083, the Baystatesmen Barbershop Chorus, I say: Delete, not notable. The quartet work was performed by the Dapper Dans of Disney World: Mike Economou, tenor; Shelby Grimm, lead; Dan Jordan, bari; Jim Campbell, bass. It aired on September 30, 1993 and was episode 9F21, see [1] and [2]. The latter gives the name as "Be sharps," B-E two letters, but most other references seem to give it as "B sharps," B, one letter.

• Can we have List of fictional music groups and indeed the category Fictional music groups without inviting such an article? (And Party Posse, also currently vfded.) Merge and redirect to save the connection from that sort of source to the most relevant surviving page in the Simpsons universe, likely the episode page as Violet suggests.
