Hi Alex - if you want to leave a message for people you need to leave it on *their* talkpage. Otherwise, unless he checks back on my talkpage, he's not going to see it (that's also why people seem to be talking to themselves on their talkpages). --Charlesknight 22:44, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is a good suggestion, thank you! Alex Kosorukoff 22:50, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You know, people tend to keep their old messages they've received and they usually archive old discussions... Blanking your own talk page removes "direct" access to older discussions, but anyone can retrieve them from the history... But anyway, sorry for the revert and for the rant, after all it's your talk page, you're on wikipedia much longer than I have and since it's your talk page, you're of course free to do with it! :) P.S. If you wonder how come I wrote to you out of the blue, this is how I've found you: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=LinkedIn&diff=104604384&oldid=104318120 So I reckon you're interested in Linkedin? :) --Vlad|-> 18:00, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of LinkedIn Answers for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article LinkedIn Answers is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/LinkedIn Answers until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 05:33, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article DonationCoder.com has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:WEB. Ocasional reference by another blog writing on a similar subject does not constitute notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Notice

The article Participatory organization has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unclear scope; the contract vs. participatory logic is inscrutable; sources do not shed any additional light on what it was intended to be when created over a decade ago with few edits since
