You Thomas Pynchon edits[edit]

Hi,

I was reading your Pynchon edits. This is what I was thinking:

1. The info about Gravity's Rainbow should really be merged into the Gravity's Rainbow article. It seems more appropriate and what you have written contains spoilers and the convention is to flag that up.

2. The info about Salinger is already included in the article under the Rumours section. Can you merge your info in there.

3. The info about his location is fine. :)

Cheers,

Thanks for your work on Wikipedia. I have merged your article on James Rector into the article about People's Park, where he was killed, and why he was notable. I added the point about the mural, which was not in the article. Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions about this. JesseW 06:46, 26 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Unverified images[edit]

Hi. You uploaded Image:Bloody thursday 1.jpg but did not list any source and/or copyright information on the image description page. Please mark it either as GFDL or public domain. See Image copyright tags for more info. Please note that images without copyright information may be deleted in the future. Thanks. RedWolf 03:52, Dec 28, 2004 (UTC)

Eric Drooker[edit]

Hi. Your text for Eric Drooker seems to be a direct copy from this article by Victoria Huang. Since there's no evidence that it was used with permission, and not even any acknowledgement of the author (something I'd think an anarcho-hipster would respect), I'm cutting it all until someone can write something original. And even if the author gave permission, this would have to be rewritten; it's not concise enough for an encyclopedia article, and has lots of praise of the artist that goes against Wikipedia:NPOV. Drooker deserves an article, so if you have time to condense and rewrite that text, please do! Hob 17:56, September 8, 2005 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Clouzot_itse.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Clouzot_itse.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 02:41, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Hamas[edit]

Hi. It is not the ruling party; Fatah controls the executive. Thanks. El_C 16:51, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Hello Anarcho hipster. Thank you for reverting vandalism from my user page. Regards, Masterpiece2000 (talk) 06:05, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Pacific Arabic Resources has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable school. It has no significant coverage and is unsourced but since it has at least a very weak claim to notability (the sf weekly award) it is unspeedyable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kevin (talk) 08:14, 8 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
