Is it a bad idea to list films in various formats? said --KQ

I think it's a good idea; concrete examples are always nice. But just a few canonical or interesting examples: first/last in format, first by major director, most famous, made some unusually interesting use of the format, etc. --Brion VIBBER

I'll look into it--not as a huge list, but a small one of better-known films--maybe as few as one apiece--just so the viewer can watch them in theaters on original formats and see the difference. And, admittedly, that will be a small percentage of users that can do that, since most theaters show things in 35mm regardless of what they were originally filmed on. But I am not a big fan at all of lists just for lists' sake. --KQ
