3RR violation on Nation of Islam[edit]

If you revert one more time you will be in danger of being blocked from editing wikipedia. Please see WP:3RR.- Moshe Constantine Hassan Al-Silverburg | Talk 14:55, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jewish writers[edit]

Hello,

I'm not the one who reverted your reclassification of some sources in the Anti-Defamation League articles as "racist," but I do disagree with your change. While it's true that Lapin, Chomsky, etc., are Jewish, they are not representing Jewish organizations in their comments, so it's hard to consider them "Jewish sources." In addition, only one of the sources at issue (Lapin) is known for being Jewish -- the others just happen to be Jewish. -- Mwalcoff 00:34, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Russell Simmons[edit]

Don't back down under the face of abuse. If Russell Simmons said what he said, then it's a "reliable source" as per WP:RS. User: Jayjg's revert of you was wrong, but you should review his user contributions to determine his POV. 08:42, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NoI[edit]

Hello John, obviously you have an agenda : demonstrating that Nation of Islam is not anti-semitic, and stressing that, on the opposite side, it is the ADL that is racist. I don't find you very objective, but then Wikipedia is open to anyone. I just want to tell you that i have serioulsy reduced the section you devoted to Neturei Karta defending Farrakhan. As interesting as this fact is, you overblew it considering how marginal the NK is in the Jewish world. They represent only themselves, and this is, quantitatively speaking, not much. Nation of Islam Template Links[edit]

I proposed removing the External Links from the NOI template more than a week ago. Nobody has responded, and I planned to remove them later this week. I saw that you removed them today and somebody else restored them. Would you care to join a discussion of the issue at Template talk:Nation of Islam? (I've also invited the person who restored the links.) Thanks. Malik Shabazz 20:16, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Hon-elijah muhammad.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hon-elijah muhammad.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Speedy deletion of Image:Minister ava.jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:Minister ava.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Minister ava.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Polly (Parrot) 17:08, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Please consider whether these self-serving statements by Farrakhan relate to Betty Shabazz, the subject of the article. Perhaps they belong in Farrakhan's biography instead. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 19:33, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
