Patty Walsh[edit]

No indication of notability. She has a bylined article in the UNLV newspaper ([1]), so this political scientist who resides in Las Vegas is probably an undergrad majoring in political science. JamesMLane 06:21, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. 264,000 Google hits but doesn't seem notable .--Jondel 06:42, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. No evidence of notability. Those Google hits reduce to 457 if you include the name in quotes. Without the quotation marks Google returns hits for every page that has "Patty" and/or "Walsh" on it. SWAdair | Talk 10:16, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)
    • That's Patty AND Walsh. Google only does 'OR' searches with the keyword 'OR' (uppercase). Otherwise it does 'AND' searches by default. Delete, by the way. Rory 11:54, Oct 4, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete - Search on "Patty Walsh" (in quotes) gives only 459 hits on a common name: most clearly are not the woman in question. ClockworkTroll 17:26, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Non-notable student. Gwalla | Talk 18:49, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. The person in question is from all accounts a UNLV student who is a staff reporter to the school newspaper - not notable (at this stage in her life just yet). Maybe another indication that some university students have a bit too much time on their hands. --avnative 03:06, Oct 5, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete I read her articles in the Rebel Yell (and I might add she's a good reporter), but she's not famous yet...--[[User:Plato|Comrade Nick @)---^--]] 10:21, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
