What kind of article is this? Should this be in the Wikipedia namespace? If not, all links to the Wikipedia namespace should be given as external links. ✏ Sverdrup 12:28, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)

This article is aimed at being a 'flagship' sort of article for Wikipedia:WikiProject_Community once it fully forms. Please see the project's pages for some clarity. Quinobi 13:35, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)

I've read the WikiProject page, but I don't understand much of it. What is the project's aims relating to writing articles in Wikipedia? What I can see though, is that this article makes unwanted Self-references, and that the wikipedia community probably is too non-notable to merit an article; At least should this article have close ties to the article Wikipedia in the form of being a subtopic to that article. ✏ Sverdrup 14:46, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)

The WikiProject_Community project is mostly to find and reference existing articles that deal with community development practice in general and to list online communities and their associated articles. The Wikipedia Community is (or should be) descriptive only and toward the bottom of a list of online communities as one example. Quinobi 20:12, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Oh I see what you mean now Sverdrup. If this article goes anywhere, it should go someplace like

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:The_Wikipedia_Community but you're right. the wikipedia community is probably too non-notable. Thanks. Quinobi 02:18, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
