Text from 2002[edit]

Here's some text from the old page:

These should be the most basic topics in the field--topics about which we'd like to have articles soon. Please see the most basic encyclopedia article topics for general instructions on constructing this list, and consult complete list of encyclopedia topics.

I have one: Political media

Another topic:stress and political decision-making

WP:WP:POLITICS[edit]

Shouldn't this be Wikipedia:WikiProject_Politics or something like that? Then Wikipedia:Politics could redirect to Wikipedia:political dispute which is more correct, since the Wikipedia: space (other than WikiProjects) is supposed to be for policy and consensus articles regarding Wikipedia:itself and its operations. Shouldn't there be some mention of Internatinal Relations? Isn't that what all the kids are taking in University these days? Isn't that an important Political Science Topic??? --Sean Antrim 05:22, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The "History of" section needs links![edit]

Please add some relevant links to the history section.

Links can be found in the "History of" article for this subject, in the "History of" category for this subject, or in the corresponding navigation templates. Or you could search for topics on Google - most topics turn blue when added to Wikipedia as internal links.

Hawaii included in politics of oceania[edit]

As Hawai'i, being a state of the U.S.A., it does not seem appropriate that it be included in this section, particularly not under dependencies and territories, which the status of is much different than state. would someone please make this change, as I can't quite figure out how. Quick explanation of Wikipedia outlines[edit]

"Outline" is short for "hierarchical outline". There are two types of outlines: sentence outlines (like those you made in school to plan a paper), and topic outlines (like the topical synopses that professors hand out at the beginning of a college course). Outlines on Wikipedia are primarily topic outlines that serve 2 main purposes: they provide taxonomical classification of subjects showing what topics belong to a subject and how they are related to each other (via their placement in the tree structure), and as subject-based tables of contents linked to topics in the encyclopedia. The hierarchy is maintained through the use of heading levels and indented bullets. See Wikipedia:Outlines for a more in-depth explanation. The Transhumanist 00:08, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
