He was discovered in Venice beach, California![edit]

Marcus Schenkenberg was discovered b Barry king in Venice Beach California. He is also 6'4 not 6'3 or 6'2 which is used by agencies to make him more marketable to clients. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.73.116.209 (talk) 19:59, 19 July 2009 (UTC) [reply]

Highest paid male model[edit]

I removed this claim, as I could find no source for the claim, and recent sources indicating he's not even in the top 10. As the claim was worded in the current version of the page, there was no mention of when he was the highest paid model. Looking back at previous versions of the page, it looks like a game of Chinese whispers.

2004: His first magazine cover was for “Harpers Bazaar” in 1991, and he later has modelled for Gianni Versace, Donna Karan, Ungaro and Calvin Klein, earning him a reputation for being the world’s most beautiful man, as well as making him the world’s highest paid male model.

2006: He is also reported to be one of the highest paid and richest male supermodels in the world.

2006: He is the highest paid per-year male supermodel in the world, and also known for his muscular, well-proportioned body, and especially for his "washboard" abdominal muscles.

2009: He is the highest paid per-year male model in the world, earning upwards of $1 million dollars in his heyday[citation needed] and known for his muscular body and "washboard" abdominal muscles.

2010: He is modelling for 20 years and is still the highest paid male model.

2011-current: He has been modelling for 20 years, and is still the highest paid male model.

If you restore this claim, please specify when he was/is the highest paid male model, and supply a source.
