Disambiguation[edit]

Is there any objection to moving this to Princeton Junction (Amtrak station)? --CComMack 06:02, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Yes, if the station is owned by NJT. No, if it isn't. Can you figure out who owns it? jdb ❋ (talk) 06:15, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)
No, and not for lack of trying.

Neither Wikipedia:Naming conventions (stations) nor Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (stations) gives much guidance for this case, though the suggestion of "most prominent system" favors Amtrak (only a bit  ;-)), and my previous understanding was that Amtrak was to be given precedence. I'm now considering if disambig is neccessary in this case, however; would Princeton Junction Station be acceptable? --CComMack 06:37, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I don't see anything wrong with the Princeton Junction Station or Princeton Junction (rail station), being that it is a multi service station, both Amtrak and NJT, so i would say go ahead with the move, in the mean time, I am going to create redirects for Princeton Junction (Amtrak station), and Princeton Junction Station in the meantime. --Boothy443 | comhrÚ 04:57, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Parking section[edit]

I removed it then restored it. I blocked an editor related to that section, so I should not be the one to decide if it should be there. I'll post at WikiProject Trains to see if such a section is appropriate. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 20:21, 26 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The second paragraph is definitely original research and should be removed. I think it would be better to write something like "there is a parking lot with some daily parking spaces and some reserved spaces for permit holders" instead of having a whole section, but that sentence could probably describe any park-and-ride and could probably be omitted as well (though I don't know much about park-and-rides in the US). Thank you for the good feedback, Jc86035. Please feel free to remove it. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:13, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with its removal. The only thing even remotely distinct about it is that permits have a really long waiting list. That's not information that belongs in an encyclopedia. oknazevad (talk) 12:22, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you too for the good feedback, oknazevad!

New photo for the platforms?[edit]

The photo used in the infobox is starting to become dated. Amtrak is upgrading the line through Princeton Junction. I've noticed in a number of YouTube videos from trainspotters, the overhead lines have been modernized. Should there be another photo request from the platforms that show the upgraded overhead lines in the present day? FunksBrother (talk) 16:08, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
