Untitled[edit]

I have removed this sentence because it seemed to be POV:

"The build quality was a big step forward over previous models."

However, if it can be substantiated (e.g. by customer satisfaction surveys) then it should be reinstated. SamH 13:54, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)

hehe as an owner of both 205s and 206s, there is no comparison in terms of build quality. The 206 is vastly superior by an order of magnitude. Sjc 10:54, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Citroën version[edit]

nique ta grosse mere la reine des putes

4-door sedan version[edit]

4-door sedan version is not available in mainland China. The only version that is in production now in mainland China is 5-door hatchback with 1.6 L petrol engines. I have no idea if the sedan version is selling in Taiwan.

on the other hand, 4-door sedan version IS available in Serbia, should be listed imo 77.105.54.175 (talk) 00:31, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

metric[edit]

made the metric system constant through the article

The "problems" area has problems[edit]

It starts out ok but by the end it reads like an advertisement for that club that's linked.

Agreed. The mention should either be removed or rephrased in a better way. Nbettencourt 12:46, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Its relative importance on this page suggests that problems are its major distinction and thus contradicts my experience of the car. This seems to me to be the unsubstantiated POV of a dissatisfied customer who perhaps thinks that most 206 drivers will agree with him or her. As an unqualifiedly happy driver of a 206, this is diametrically opposite to my opinion and that of many other 206 drivers whom I know to be equally as offended as I am by its presence here at all.

Limited editions models?[edit]

Is it worth creating extra pages for limited editions of the 206, or just adding them to the main page?

Removed problems statement[edit]

This paragraph was added by an anonymous contributor. However, with the statements it makes, it definitely needs to be sourced: Bob talk 13:56, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another problem in the 206 is not a problem as such , but a handling characteristic of the car chasis. zbeub zbeub

Commercial[edit]

I added a YouTube link to the commercial mentioned in the article, to make an error clear. Unfortunately a bot has removed it. Anyone who can re-add it somehow without breaching Wikipedias copyright policy? "There is however a slight error: the steering wheel of the 206 replica is now on the left hand side. It's not a good car.[edit]

I have a 206, but it's a bad car. I've spent lots of money (about US $4000 a year in maintenance). Could we say that is a terrible automobile? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.177.205.98 (talk) 02:50, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, we couldn't say that. Anecdotical evidence is irrelevant for this article. 190.17.55.192 (talk) 23:13, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For $4000 you could buy three used ones. Not sure where you'd find $4000 worth of repairs in this car at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.162.185.60 (talk) 17:02, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Missing editions[edit]

It appears that the Peugeot 206 LX is not mentioned on this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamesx94 (talkcontribs) 09:55, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
