National emblem

National emblem -- I've asked a few questions on its talk page 7 days back but got no responses. Probably not many have got it on their watchlist. The article lists the National Tree, National Animal, National Plant, National Flower, etc. of countries. I was under the impression that a National Emblem is distinct and separate from a nation's other symbols. So the basic question is : can a country have more than one national emblem ?
