I'm going to write an article on Ben Hajioff

Oh, good God! -- Oliver P. 21:25 Mar 2, 2003 (UTC)

Keith Pereira has just left to meet you for dinner. It's probably a good idea to get off the Wikipedia and make that date, sirrah.

Righty-ho. I actually set off slightly late, as I had to fix the article on a certain artist (if one can call him that) that someone had created... But anyway, welcome to the Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to behave yourself. If you need pointers on how we title pages visit Wikipedia:Naming conventions or how to format them visit our manual of style. If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Village pump. Cheers, mate! ;) -- Oliver P. 10:28 Mar 3, 2003 (UTC)

Hello again, Birchtree.

In the article on The Birthday Party which you added this morning, you wrote, "This article is taken from Howlspace.com". I just went to that site and looked for copyright information, but couldn't find any. Do you own the copyright, or has the copyright owner agreed to release the material under the GNU Free Documentation License? These things are important, so please let us know by doing the requisite typing on your keyboard. -- Oliver P. 13:58 Mar 3, 2003 (UTC)

Ah. No actually, this is the one case where I just lifted it from the page without asking. Sorry. Birchtree

Martin doesn't like your idea of having a "not goth" article... It doesn't say a lot, but perhaps more could be added...? Would you like to defend it, or just let it go? -- Oliver P. 15:23 Mar 3, 2003 (UTC)

I've responded. Birchtree

About the datestamping: if you put three tildes at the end of a post (~~~), it comes up with a link to your user page; if you put four (~~~), it comes up with a link to your user page, followed by a timestamp. Hope that helps! -- Oliver P. 04:00 Mar 4, 2003 (UTC)

Aha. Thanks. Birchtree 04:46 Mar 4, 2003 (UTC)

Now, now, stop that... Fishes indeed! You could have at least made them stegosauruses or something... -- Oliver P. 02:02 Mar 7, 2003 (UTC)

Pfft. The formatting is all wrong. It might adversely affect my present campaign to become a sysop. ;) Anyway, have you got any more articles up your sleeve? Know any famous polydactyls...? -- Oliver P. 02:12 Mar 7, 2003 (UTC)

I thought they were all extinct. :S Birchtree 02:16 Mar 7, 2003 (UTC)
:) Actually, now that I look at the page again, there aren't any living people on it... Hmm, there must be some... -- Oliver P. 03:44 Mar 11, 2003 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Birchtree! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 974 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
