Battle of Copenhagen[edit]

Could you please supply a reference for the Danish and British casualty figures you quote. I searched for quite a while and could not find any that matched yours. I would like to see what I missed. Dabbler 17:05, 19 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I found Fischer's report to the Crown Prince translated and transcribed here [1] it shows Danish casualties of 1600-1800 unlike you reference. Also Nelson's figures from his official report are shown at the same site. I can't find any reference to Parker producing a different set of figures. He forwarded Nelson's report and endorsed it. Also unlike your claim that no one was promoted as a result of the battle, Nelson was made a Viscount after Copenhagen which is a significant step up in the peerage of the UK.
