Google can't find anything. Is this real? Only reference on wikipedia is this. Thue | talk 16:34, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • delete, even if it were true, wikipedia is not the place to publish breaking news --fvw 17:43, 2004 Nov 9 (UTC)
  • If it can't be verified, delete. Average Earthman 17:58, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete: As Earthman says, it's unverifiable. Geogre 19:07, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Can we speedy this under the criterion "Very short articles with little or no context"? Bearcat 21:21, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete unless verified. --Michael Snow 21:39, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. 1) Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a news outlet. 2) The assertion is unverified. 3) The [content] was gibberish. A second anon edited the article 4 min later making the claim about the "unconfirmed report". The combination makes me strongly suspect that this is a hoax. Rossami 01:39, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete if unverifiable. siroχo 05:55, Nov 10, 2004 (UTC)
  • Useless substub. False information about a non-notable event. Delete. - Mike Rosoft 11:01, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)
As for the event being non-notable, I suggest you contact the people living in Saratov and ask them their opinion about the notability of a reactor shutdown, particularly those who were hospitalized for iodine overdoses. [1] --[[User:Eequor|η♀υωρ]] 23:32, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. I should like to point out that the reactor was actually in the Ukraine, with no leak of radiation. [2] --[[User:Eequor|η♀υωρ]] 22:21, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Even if the article was accurate it would be useless.
