Switching between series[edit]

When does the BEP decide when to update a given denomination to the most recent series? I looked at the BEP's February 2007 production data and they're still printing Series 2003A $1 bills even though $20s and higher are on Series 2006. Why is this? —Scott5114 ↗ 06:07, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Series 1882[edit]

This article references Series 1882, but there's an isolated sentence below that says that no series has ever ended in a 2. Georgia guy (talk) 15:44, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question, pre-2003 notes[edit]

I keep seeing mention of bills dated before 2003 not being accepted outside the USA. I've not found anything official on this. If anyone knows more, please add that information to this article! Thanks, Hordaland (talk) 18:00, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
