I modified the history section for the Riksdag to include the prior developments in creating a parliament in Sweden before the 1865 reforms. This just helps to demonstrate that parliamentary representation has a much longer history in Swedish government than the period of Liberal reforms in the 19th century.

Good job! The article on the Riksdag of the Estates needs to be similarly improved to reflect the historical background. Today this article primarily deals with the period from the constitutional reforms in 1809 until dissolution in 1866. There is also a main article dealing with the instititional history of the Riksdag, which ought to span the entire period from the meeting in Arboga until present, and additions on history primarily belongs there. Riksdag building[edit]

It would be good to include something about the history of the building(s) used by the Riksdag. GagHalfrunt 2 July 2005 13:42 (UTC)
