I have no problem with having separate articles for Nintendo Entertainment System and Nintendo Family Computer, but if they're going to be virtually the same, then what is the purpose? The tech specs are identical (leading one to believe that they are in fact the same system); the differences in their respective careers is good to see, but since large chunks of both articles are copy-paste work, it seems like there is some duplication of effort here. -- Wapcaplet 16:38, 1 Sep 2003 (UTC)

I just wanted to mention that the screenshot of Maniac Mansion at the bottom is obviously for the NES version, which is a very different game from the Japanese Famicom version. --24.13.172.118 07:49, 25 Dec 2004 (UTC)
